San Juan facility positively energizes Puerto Rico
We're powering Puerto Rico with positive energy
We’re getting fired up in Puerto Rico! Our Port of San Juan facility, including truck loading bays, will be supplying liquefied natural gas (LNG) to the San Juan Combined Cycle Power Plant. Moreover, it’s uniquely positioned to help on-island industrial, commercial, and transportation customers take advantage of this more affordable and environmentally friendly energy solution.
Learn more about what brought us to Puerto Rico
In 2017, Hurricane Maria left more than 3.4 million residents without electricity. Since then, the island has withstood ongoing devastation wrought by natural disasters. We knew we had to help transition Puerto Rico to more reliable, cleaner and more affordable energy. This led to the commissioning of our San Juan facility in 2020.
