Jamaica receives first LNG cargo for 120MW power plant

JPS, the Jamaican energy company, has announced that it has received its first shipment of gas for the 120 MW Bogue power plant in Montego Bay. New Fortress Energy provided the cargo via the Golar Arctic carrier. It was delivered to the port of Kingston.
The President and CEO of JPS, Kelly Tomblin, said: “JPS is proud to be partnering with New Fortress Energy to lead the introduction of natural gas to Jamaica.
