Jamaica to get LNG-powered vehicles

Jamaica is set to get Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)-powered motor vehicles.

The vehicles are being brought to market by IGL Limited in partnership with American energy and logistics company New Fortress Energy.

“IGL will introduce the first LNG-powered vehicles to Jamaica, a move which forms part of the company’s strategic plan to reduce its carbon footprint and widen its commitment to creating a safer environment,” IGL said in a media advisory.
